I've never done a journal entry before so I guess now is as good a time as any. I am extremely impressed with Deviant Art and the community it has created. Art for me is a way to find the great universal truths and what it means to be human. I believe art is essential for human advancement.

I am most interested in 3D and computer animation. I use mostly open source software such as Blender and Gimp, and I love the open source philosophy. I have a youtube account that has a few of my Blender animations.

My main goal when I create something is to make the viewer think about things differently. The more open-minded people are, the better off our species is as a whole. If we started thinking on a global scale, we could really solve the world's problems. This is the Age of Information, anything is possible. I believe this is the age that science will prevail over superstition, and people will finally wake up to reality.
